Talking in Lagos, the Director General of the Agency, Prof. Mojisola Adeyeye, said that more than 20 loads of the hostile items were emptied from the two areas, while the merchant is currently on the loose. She said: "The officials of Investigation and Enforcement Directorate of NAFDAC and the Federal Task Force on Counterfeit and Fake Drugs and Unwholesome Processed Foods attacked two stockrooms at the TradeFair Complex in Lagos, where various containers of restricted medications were found and emptied.
"The prohibited and adulterated medications in the distribution centers claimed by one Chuka, who is currently on the loose, is assessed to be worth over N3 billion.
"More than 20 loads of the hostile items were cleared from the two areas.
